The A2000 is a very very clever camera it has alot of features that makes it almost like a gadget and not a camera but it takes very nice pictures.
The only thing I would say is if your looking to put a flash gun on it Sony use a special attachment and not the universal one all other camera makes use so you can only put a sony flash gun on it.
Not very many lenses available for sony cameras compared to Nikon & Canon.
Canon & Nikon would be a better choice for more serious photography but none the less the Sony is a very nice and durable camera.
